by Snugpak August 26, 2014 in News 0 comments
It’s unclear where the need to be a “prepper” influences some people more than others. It might stem from the constant procession of disaster movies from Hollywood or the media’s tendency to tell us all the bad things that are happening in the world. There are three aspects to modern prepping – acquire the necessary supplies, learn the vital skills (e.g. dodging cans of baked beans) and build a community. Necessary supplies come in the form of food, water and shelter. For food and water, preppers not only carry large stocks of these they also take steps to minimise the chances […] Read more!

by Snugpak June 22, 2014 in How To's 0 comments
Camping is all about enjoying the great outdoors and freeing yourself of everyday living constraints. It’s also a great holiday with the kids as it gets them away from their computer games and into the fresh air. But this all sounds great as long as you get a good night’s sleep! Outdoor sleeping equipment has come a long way over the years so with the right gear, you should have a great night’s sleep. As experts in sleeping bags, we have a wide range to accommodate all sizes, weather conditions, temperatures, tastes and price points! Have a browse here. • Temperatures at night can vary and if you have children with you, they are more prone to these changes. Make sure you have suitable […] Read more!
